Pompoir is an art, an ancient oriental technique that consists of voluntary contraction and relaxation of the vaginal muscles. These exercises provide greater sexual pleasure and benefit women’s health.
The first practice arose in India through tantra, a philosophy that considers sex as a divine path to wholeness, through preparatory exercises for maithuma (sacred sex ritual)
A little bit of history
It was initially developed by the priestesses and used in fertility rituals. Later, Thai women began to practice these techniques, in which mothers taught their daughters from an early age. Japanese geisha perfected this knowledge.
In the 1950s, gynecologist Arnold Kegel developed some exercises for women who had urinary incontinence problems, research led him to discover that the pubocoxygeal muscle is out of shape if not managed properly. By exercising the muscles, the medical problem was resolved and the chances of orgasm and genital sensations increased.
Since then, there have been many professionals and amateurs, who over time have been modernizing the old techniques and increasing their profits.
The practice of pompoarism stimulates the circulation of the pelvic area, and according to several gynaecological studies it helps to strengthen the vaginal muscles, prevent urinary incontinence, the “falling” of the bladder, in addition to helping the pregnant woman in natural childbirth and reduce the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome and menstrual cramps as well as the symptoms of menopause caused by hormonal deficiency.
Know your body.
The pompoir is gaining more and more followers with the purpose of increasing the pleasure and that of your partner, improving their sexual relationship.
To the aforementioned benefits, we add that understanding the technique and putting it into practice allows women to know and understand better their anatomy, desires, needs, limits and difficulties.
The path to self-knowledge passes through pompoarism, as well as touching the breasts, vagina, clitoris and other erogenous zones.
It is easy, discreet and pleasant.
Many of the exercises are easy and enjoyable to do, some of them can be done at home even while you’re doing household chores, on your way to work, or even during your office hours as they are very discreet exercises.
Know a little more.
There are numerous books, training manuals and tips on the different techniques of pompoarism, but the most important secret to success is to take care of yourself and exercise. You will get to know each other more and more, and you will give your lover more pleasure by surprising them.
When a woman uses pompoir techniques, it balances hormone levels, improves her physical and mental health. And these changes result in beauty and self-esteem.
There is no age to start, although the sooner you start the more benefits you will have and the greater the result.
In most cases, within the first two months of practicing them consistently, you’ll feel more potent and flexible vaginal muscles and begin to give your partner more pleasure.
IMPORTANT: the correct breathing!Breathe in through the nose while contracting the desired muscle and when relaxing, exhale through the mouth.
- Exercise 1: To better understand the contraction movement that should be done, try to interrupt the output of urine for about 10 to 15 seconds and then relax and release, and so on.
- Exercise 2: The female genital organ is composed of several muscles. The vagina has three muscle rings: the first ring is the strongest (near the vulva), and should be stimulated with gentle contractions; the second ring is in the middle vaginal portion and should be stimulated with medium strength; the third ring is the innermost ring and is located next to the cervix of the uterus, does not contain much muscle strength and should be stimulated stronger. It is important to identify each one of the rings and making the contractions with low, medium and strong intensity, it will be possible to feel each one of them.
Chinese Ball Kegel Exercises
In recent years, the use of special Chinese therapeutic balls has been found to produce an involuntary and effortless kegel exercise. So much so, that they are recommended by soil specialists.
Chinese balls are excellent for strengthening the PC muscles because they are the ones that support them, as well as increasing female sensation in the vaginal walls.
What are they?
They are two spheres joined by a string (or silicon strip) that is also at the end of one of them. Both are inserted into the vagina, leaving the end rope outside so that they can be removed.
The shock that the two balls produce when they are in motion (some physical activity must be done) produces pleasure in many women by increasing their sensitivity, and the effort that the pubocoxygeal muscles make to support them inside the vagina makes them tone.
It is recommended to use them only for a short time at first, no more than 45 minutes, and to increase the frequency and time.
Exercises tone the pelvic floor in general, however, in more serious cases of uterine prolapse, urinary incontinence, or simply, if the Chinese balls fall out of the vagina, it is necessary to see a pelvic floor specialist who treats the problem in depth.
